The two books of Jamaliat Al-ibda' Al-rahabani are what I looked for all my life, the wordings of the works of the Rahabai brothers. I read one operetta chapter and scanned through several others and I plan to enjoy reading all. I thought I was the only person who realized the depth and the greatness of the Rahabani's, and felt sorry that all recognition goes to Fairouz and not them. I always listen to the whole operetta and not only the songs of the operetta. Dr. Massouh presented the story told by the operetta in a beautiful detail. His knowledge of the background, the history, and the surrounding of the operetta is impressive, and makes you think it is Assi or Mansour who are giving you this information. The books are master pieces and they are a treasure to those who love the Rahabani Brothers and who recognize them as the greatest musicians and artists in the whole Arab world and beyond. As an admirer of the Rahabani Brothers, I wish to express to Dr. Massouh my appreciation for his effort and the precious gift he gave us. I love the book very much and I will go through them many times.
